How do I set prices for my sites?

The follow is a guideline and checklist to consider when you are setting your prices.

Human Sites:

Categories of possible human sites that guests can book are:

  1. Horse trailer sites, with or without hook ups,
  2. Housing provided by hosts, and
  3. Both options above at a Vacation Destination.

The least expensive sites are horse trailer sites without hook ups, although they are just as important as the other options. Some people will travel with a generator and do not need hook ups. The most expensive sites are housing provided by hosts at a vacation destination, since these sites offer more amenities and activities.

Ask yourself the following questions to help you determine the best price:

  • Is the site a dirt lot or concrete pad?
  • Does the site have shade or a beautiful view?
  • Do you provide trash cans or a dumpster?
  • Do you offer extras like a picnic table, fire pit or internet?
  • If you provide housing, is it older or newer?
  • Is the housing  offered a furnished apartment or a yurt/tent?
  • Do you provide all linens, towels etc.?

  1. Stall or pen,
  2. Stallion stall or oversized stall,
  3. Paddock or arena, and
