In an effort to reduce liability for hosts and our company, GiddyUp GetAway has partnered with Stripe to collect, hold and payout our transaction funds. Stripe is one of the most trusted payment processing platforms in the world. They have won several performance awards, including the 2023 Innovation Award.

BANK ACCOUNT SAFETY (copied directly from Stripe Documents page):
- Stripe maintains organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect bank account information against unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, or misuse. Bank account numbers are encrypted in transit using TLS (SSL) and at rest with AES-256. Additionally, Stripe uses internal access controls to separate decryption keys, encrypted account details, and primary services (See document).
- All data associated with financial accounts is encrypted in transit and at rest. Stripe also implements additional access controls and ongoing monitoring to prevent data misuse (See document).
- To ensure bank account safety, Stripe advises users to verify accounts using financial instant verification, prevent accidental disputes, and reduce bank auto-blocks by having customers provide Stripe Company IDs to their bank (See document).

It is essential to protect one's Stripe account by using unique passwords, enabling multiple authentication factors, updating computer systems regularly, and avoiding phishing attempts (See document).
Hosts can see all of their financial transactions from GiddyUp GetAway in their Stripe dashboard.
Access your Stripe dashboard:
- Login into your GiddyUp GetAway account.
- Click on your Profile Icon in the upper right corner.
- In the dropdown menu, select Account.
- On the left side bar, select Show Me The Money.
- Click Income (Hosts) in the header bar.
- Select the green button View Account.
Tips: Please note Stripe has several built-in processes to protect their users. You are required to:
- Complete their account application. If you do not have a personal website, enter giddyupgetaway.com on the application.
- Verify your email address and mobile number
- Supply the your social security number
- Provide your bank account information
- Accept their Terms of Service Agreement
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECEIVE OR PAYOUT FUNDS UNTIL THE ABOVE STEPS ARE COMPLETED.
We have integrated our platform's fees and cancellation policy terms with Stripe. When you sign up with Strips via the GiddyUp GetAway website, all of settings you will need are already set up for you.
